Qualifications A current Veterinary Technician License in good standing is preferred Educational background in Veterinary Medicine is preferred At least 1-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician The ability to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, dental cleanings & x rays, administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed, monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures (soft tissue surgery), surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE! A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have Attention to detail and a high degree of organization A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST! Compensation & Benefits We are searching for a great candidate and offer competitive pay accordingly, the starting hourly range for this position is $18-20/hr and is dependent upon experience.
