Job Description

If you're looking to join a fun, fast paced veterinary clinic and you are a certified vet tech then look no further. Baxter Creek Veterinary is looking to add an experienced technician to our team. We are a locally owned practice that focuses on small animals and has been established in the valley since 2010. The right person for our team will have experience assisting with surgery prep, monitoring anesthesia, performing tech exams and assisting doctors when needed. They will also be able to work well with a team and have a "can do" attitude. We pride ourselves on having a collaborative work environment, and will always continue training and answering questions without hesitation. Baxter Creek Vet in turn will offer you flexible hours with a four day work week. This allows for a rotating three day weekend and more time to adventure in the area!
Qualifications:
  • Vet Tech Certified or veterinary experience
  • Small animal clinic experience
  • Avimark experience is a plus
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Communicate effectively with team members
Responsibilities:
  • Perform technician examinations and keep accurate records
  • Surgery preparation
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia
  • Assist with dental prophy
  • Care for hospitalized patients
