Overview Join our dynamic team as an Animal Care Technician and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality care to animals in our facility. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work closely with a variety of species, including dogs, cats ensuring their well-being through diligent husbandry, medical support, and handling. Responsibilities Provide daily animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health status across multiple species. Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Administer medications and injections following veterinary instructions accurately and aseptically. Handle pet care duties including grooming, walking dogs, and managing pet behavior to promote comfort and trust. Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, medication schedules, and behavioral observations using veterinary terminology. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized environment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Prior kennel experience or hands-on animal husbandry background preferred Experience with dog handling and animal restraint techniques essential for safe interactions. Excellent communication skills for working effectively within a team.
