Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our privately owned 4 doctor mixed practice located in rural Alamance County. We offer general practice, soft tissue surgery, laser therapy, chiropractic, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental prophylaxis, dental radiography and fully equipped in-house IDEXX laboratory. We are a clinic with emphasis on teamwork, compassion, quality medicine and work/life balance. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about veterinary medicine with a passion for client education, mentorship of veterinary assistants, and dedication to quality client and patient service. We have a friendly, low-drama team with a wonderful clinic culture. We encourage each team member to continue learning and growing, and to help others learn and grow as well. Our compensation is dependent on skill level and experience. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8-5:30pm with all staff having a day off during the week. Competitive pay and benefits for Full-time employees includes: health/vision/dental insurance, paid vacation (40 hours vacation and 1 hour accrual per week of personal time), Continuing Education allowance plus PTO for CE, uniforms, paid license renewal, generous pet care discounts and IRA contribution match.
Requirements:
    RVT/LVT/CVT
    (must have or willing to obtain license in NC)

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Able to remain calm during high stress situations
    • Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
    • Physically able to kneel, reach and bend
    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay:
    $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
