As an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this opportunity include: General veterinary knowledge (vaccines, heartworm disease, flea/tick) Medication dispensing and administering Pharmacology calculations Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.) Dental prophy and dental radiology experience are a must Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Your talent and skill as a Veterinary Technician are essential to your success in this role. In addition, there are also some other qualities that are important to us.

Ability to build rapport with clients, fellow team members and leadership Client education and communication skills that convey our recommendations to clients in an easily understandable and professional manner Patience and kindness, compassion and understanding, especially in challenging situations Responding to the pressure of a fast-paced environment with dignity and professionalism
Job Type:
Full-time (36-40 hours per week)
Benefits:
Quarterly profit sharing Uniform allowance ($150 every 6 months for full-time) Employee discount after 90 days of employment Veterinary care allowance after 90 days Health insurance reimbursement (50% of your cost, up to $250/month) Paid License Fees in NC Professional membership fees paid for the AVMA, NAVTA, and NCAVT Continuing education allowance of $750 per year with the option to roll over unused funds to the following year Additional PTO for

Day shift (7am-6pm) 4 days/week
