Job Description

Bel-Aire Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) to join our team and support both wellness / outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, motivated, client-focused RVT who is dependable and eager to jump in where needed. Our ideal candidate is someone who can handle a busy, fast-paced environment while still providing excellent patient care, paying close attention to detail, and maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Assisting in surgery Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service Schedule and compensation:

$23 - 25 per hour, for each hour worked
Schedule:
This is a full-time position , with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, NO

  • : Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of North Carolina CE allowance: $500-$1,000 based on tenure and credentials Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Paid holidays Generous personal pet discount Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 3+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of North Carolina •Proficiency in the following skills: Client education and communication Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical assistance and aseptic technique Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Effective teamwork and professional communication skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning •Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply Why choose Bel-Aire Veterinary Hospital?
