The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, administering medications, assisting with surgeries, and providing support to the veterinary staff. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals. Administer medications and vaccinations to animals. Perform laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood counts. Monitor vital signs of animals, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rate. Assist in surgery and other medical procedures. Maintain records of animal care, treatment, and medications administered. Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition. Qualifications Veterinary technician experience Strong communication skills Proficiency in medication administration Veterinary terminology knowledge Animal handling and restraint experience Familiarity with animal physiology Ability to handle various animals with care Dog handling skills Pet care experience X-Ray knowledge
