Part time would be considered for the right candidate. We are a fast paced hospital committed to practicing the highest quality of medicine and superior client service. We are a small animal practice offering a variety of services including ultrasound, endoscopy, chemotherapy, advanced surgeries, and rehab/physical therapy. We place a strong emphasis on a positive workplace culture and strive to be a place where our employees love coming to work every day.
Job Responsibilities:
Applicant must be a self-motivated team player who values customer service. We are seeking individuals that will enrich a positive work environment with a willingness to work hard on a team and have fun while doing so. We are a busy practice so you must enjoy a fast pace and must be able to switch gears quickly. Some weekends are required. Technical duties include but are not limited to: general patient care, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, monitoring hospitalized patients, client education and exam room assistance, performing dentistry procedures and monitoring anesthesia under the supervision of a veterinarian, processing laboratory samples, utilizing microscopy skills, and much more.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and have reliable independent transportation. We are looking for team members that thrive in a fast paced environment and work well as a member of a team. A positive attitude is a must! Applicants must love animals but also must love their people too :) •Benefits, paid vacation, and 401K available for full time applicants. Full and part time candidates will be considered.
