Position Summary Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) - Key Responsibilities Handle inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating closely with veterinarians. Assist in exam rooms with tasks such as: Taking patient history and vital signs. Confirming weight and reviewing vaccine needs. Preparing vaccines, collecting samples, and running diagnostic tests. Providing client education and assisting with animal restraint. Conduct independent appointments for procedures including: Pedicures, suture removals, and certain vaccine administrations. Bloodwork or other lab sample monitoring. Surgery admissions/discharges and general patient care. Complete daily checklists and assigned responsibilities. Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians: In person, by phone, and for ongoing and follow-up care. Provide updates on patient monitoring. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor: Wear professional attire, including a name tag. Ensure a groomed appearance and exhibit excellent communication skills.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8AM-9PM with a one hour lunch break. No weekends! Top 10 Reasons to Join Our Team! 1.
