Full-Time Animal Care Technician Rochester, New Hampshire Do you love animals and want to build a meaningful career working with them? Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of steady work history Must be at least 18 years old
Strongly Valued Experience:
Veterinary hospitals or clinics Animal shelters or rescue organizations Doggy daycare or boarding facilities Grooming environments General animal handling and care Skills We Value Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Organization and time management Ability to take direction and learn quickly Comfort working on your feet throughout the day Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Experience with vaccines, nail trims, blood draws, restraint, or routine treatments is appreciated but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn. What You'll Do Animal Care Technicians play an important support role throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities may include:
