Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As a Veterinary Technician at Delta Animal Emergency, you will play a crucial role in providing urgent medical care to pets and supporting our veterinarian. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing facility where your skills and expertise are valued and recognized.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Perform various emergency medical procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Radiography and diagnostic imaging
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Laboratory testing
  • Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to provide excellent patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of animal care and medical procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Empathy and a passion for helping animals.
  • CVT or LVT preferred.
