Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who wants to practice veterinary medicine in a place where skilled technicians are valued as professionals and compassionate care still matters. Position Description:

Our technicians are involved in every aspect of patient care.

Tasks Include:

• Assisting our doctors with examinations (restraint, vitals, vaccinations).
• Record Keeping- analyze medical history and diagnostic findings prior to appointments, record client questions and doctor's notes, maintain accurate history of client-clinic communication.
• Laboratory/Pharmacy-prepare prescriptions, perform routine lab work (fecal, urinalysis, bloodwork).
• Surgery/Radiology- perform pre- and post-surgical patient care, surgical monitoring, perform diagnostic imaging.
• Client Communication- prepare and discuss post-surgical care with clients, discuss medication details, ensure client understanding of prescribed care plan.
