We are a well-established small animal hospital serving the Delmar community and surrounding areas. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who wants a long-term role in a stable, supportive practice. The Role This position is a true full-scope LVT role. You will be trusted to use your training, judgment, and experience every day.
Responsibilities include:
Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical and dental assistance, including advanced monitoring Venipuncture, catheter placement, injections, and fluid therapy Laboratory diagnostics, radiology, and patient treatments Accurate medical record keeping and treatment execution Client education and communication before and after procedures Collaboration with veterinarians on patient care plans Supporting hospitalized and critical patients with attention and precision You will not be micromanaged. You will not be expected to cut corners. You will be part of medical decision-making and respected for your clinical insight. Who We Are Looking For Licensed Veterinary Technician, licensed or eligible in New York State Strong technical foundation with attention to detail Confidence in patient care and anesthesia protocols Clear, professional communication with clients and teammates A calm, solutions-focused approach during busy or challenging days Commitment to ethical, high-quality veterinary medicine New graduates with strong clinical training and a desire to grow are welcome.
