Full Job Description:
We are looking for a team player that is dependable, detail oriented, able to communicate well, multi task with accuracy and able to provide answers to client questions and provide information as needed. Must be trustworthy and compassionate with a strong work ethic. Daily tasks include, but not limited to: Restrain animals during examinations Handling and assisting with rabbits and other pocket pets Lifting animals (able to lift 30 pounds) Advocate for patients Calculate, administer, and monitor anesthesia Administer medications and vaccinations Place IV catheters, draw blood, etc Perform in-house lab work Familiar with radiology technique and positioning Help maintain cleanliness of the hospital Perform dental procedures including dental radiographs High level of proficiency with computers Be willing to mentor and train fellow team members The position offered pays $28-$32/hr depending upon experience Benefits include: Health Insurance 401k with company match Generous CE stipend Association dues Paid Vacation Employee discount Check out our website www.erockvet.com
