Job Description

Job Summary Join our small, privately owned veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Technician and play a key role in delivering compassionate care to dogs, cats, and exotic pets. This is a paid position. At least 1 year of veterinary small animal experience is required, with on-the-job training available to further develop and strengthen your skill set. Benefits available for full-time employees. Responsibilities Assist with and perform medical procedures (blood draws, urine samples, diagnostics) Safely handle and restrain animals during exams and treatments Monitor hospitalized patients, administer medications, and assist with emergency care Prepare animals and surgical areas, and assist during procedures Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care instructions and treatment plans Provide professional, friendly support at the front desk as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of veterinary or clinical experience required. Experience handling dogs, cats. Exotic animal experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to continuously learn and grow in your career as a veterinary technician.

From $26.00 per hour
