Job Responsibilities Obtain patient histories, perform patient assessments, collect samples, run in-house laboratory testing, and maintain accurate medical records Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and client communication in a fast-paced small animal practice Safely restrain canine and feline patients Place intravenous catheters; administer medications, vaccines, fluids, and treatments as directed Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients during surgical and dental procedures while maintaining sterile technique Take diagnostic radiographs, perform dental prophylaxis, and assist with dental procedures and extractions Monitor hospitalized patients, provide nursing care, and assist with emergency and urgent care cases as needed Maintain cleanliness, organization, inventory, and compliance with OSHA, controlled substance, and infection control protocols Qualifications Current New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required Ability to work in a fast-paced small animal clinical setting Excellent communication and client education skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday:

8:00 AM - 4:30

PM Rotating Saturdays:
