Job Description
Upstate Veterinary Specialties is seeking skilled and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Surgery Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are passionate about patient care, this is your opportunity to grow and excel.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and maintain surgical suites Assist in surgical procedures and support surgeons Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals Ensure proper sterile technique and patient safety Collaborate with the surgical and broader veterinary teamWhat We're Looking For:
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or eligibility for NYS licensure Experience or strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and sterile technique Passion for patient care, teamwork, and continuous learning Interest in a dynamic and varied surgical caseload Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Schedule Options MondayThursday:
9:30 AM- 8:00 PM or 7:30 AM
- 6:00 PM Tuesday
Friday:
7:30 AM- 6:00
