About Our Hospital Town Animal Hospital of Manhasset is a new family owned and operated (not corporate!) small animal hospital on Long Island (Nassau County). We cater to an upscale clientele and are focused on providing a very high level of customer care. Our focus is on quality of care for each patient rather than maximizing the volume of patient visits. Job Overview Venipuncture/sample collection IV catheter placement Taking Radiographs Dental cleanings Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Provide anesthetic monitoring during surgical procedures and dental cleanings Perform laboratory testing Communicate clearly with pet parents, providing education and updates Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient comfort Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff in a friendly environment Requirements Licensed Veterinary Technician in New York or License-eligible or equivalent skills Previous experience in a veterinary hospital Skilled in anesthesia, lab work, and client communication Friendly, empathetic, and passionate toward animals.
