Seeking a Veterinary Technician for Overnight Shifts! VCA Flannery Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our well-established, multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency and general practice in New Windsor, NY. This role includes supporting our critical overnight emergency care services, where timely, skilled intervention is essential to patient outcomes. Candidates should be confident in handling urgent and complex cases, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care during overnight shifts when pets and their families need it most.

You have worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and we want you to use the knowledge that you have invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals Overnight care is typically a combination of care for hospitalized pets, triaging pets, the standard ER duties, occasional anesthesia.
