Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care for animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. Your expertise will help ensure the health and well-being of our patients, making a significant impact on their lives and the lives of their owners. We have three thriving Veterinary clinic's: Aurora Veterinary Clinic, Mantua Veterinary Clinic and Streetsboro Veterinary Center all located in a 15 minute distance from each location. Duties As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include: Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Performing laboratory tests and analyzing samples Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Monitoring animal patients pre- and post-op Conducting X-rays Restraining animals safely during examinations and procedures Educating pet owners Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation Skills To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following skills: Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology Experience with animal restraint techniques Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment Proficiency in X-ray techniques and safety protocols Understanding of dental terminology related to veterinary care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in providing exceptional veterinary care while advancing your career in a supportive environment dedicated to animal health!
