Job Description

The Veterinary Technician will support the health and well-being of animals in a small animal clinic setting. This role involves assisting veterinarians through medical support, surgical aid, laboratory tasks, and ensuring effective communication with clients. The technician will work closely with a small team and utilize specialized veterinary technologies and software to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive animal care and assist with medical procedures Conduct laboratory work including sample collection and analysis Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures Observe patients and maintain accurate health records Communicate effectively with clients to provide veterinary guidance Sterilize and maintain veterinary equipment Collaborate efficiently with a small veterinary team Required Qualifications Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) Preferred Qualifications 1+ years experience in veterinary technology Proficient animal handling and phlebotomy skills Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Strong laboratory techniques and medical recordkeeping Effective client communication Team collaboration and attention to detail Registered Veterinary Technician
