Job Description

Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, a full-service, 24-hr Emergency and Referral Hospital is growing again! We are currently seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at our Internal Medicine Department in our Akron location. Are you an experienced RVT looking for a new challenge? Do you love complex cases and helping clients and their pets navigate these challenges? Does the idea of working in a highly collaborative and patient-centric specialty hospital appeal to you? Then the Internal Medicine department at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital might be a great fit! We're looking for an RVT with excellent technical and communication skills to work alongside our talented team of doctors and techs at our Akron location. Your day-to-day job duties would include:

Phlebotomy and venipuncture
IV catheter placement
Anesthesia induction and monitoring
Running appointments and collecting accurate patient histories
Client education and communication
Collaborating with our ER and Critical Care departments to manage hospitalized patients The hours are Tues -Friday 730a-530p
