The Role We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in patient care, surgery, diagnostics, and client education. We believe in letting our technicians do what they are trained to do, ensuring a fulfilling and dynamic workday.
Key Responsibilities Patient Care:
Monitor anesthesia, assist in surgery, and manage hospitalized patients.
Diagnostics:
Perform digital radiography, dental prophylaxis, and routine laboratory work.
Medical Tasks:
Administer medications, place intravenous catheters, and draw blood.
Client Service:
Educate pet owners on preventative care and post-operative instructions.
Records:
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinic logs. Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in the state of Ohio. New graduates welcome; prior clinical experience is a plus. Strong communication and team-oriented mindset. Ability to handle patients safely and stand for extended periods.
