  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team.
The ideal candidate will support veterinarians in providing high-quality animal care, perform technical procedures, and assist with client communication. Prior veterinary technician experience is highly valued. The Veterinary Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with medical examinations, treatments, and surgeries Obtaining patient history and update patients medical charts. Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during procedures Assist with laboratory tests, prepare samples, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures Perform dental prophylaxis, charting, and radiographs Maintain detailed medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments Skills Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology Obtain patient history and update patient charts. Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing including X-ray. Proficiency in animal restraint techniques for various species including dogs and cats Strong understanding of veterinary critical care practices and emergency response skills Successfully perform venipuncture and place intravenous catheters. Communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
