Job Description

Experienced person for a busy small veterinary office. Must be a certified vet tech .
Duties:
Perform an initial examination of the animal Get detailed information from owner Taking vital signs, drawing blood, and gathering medical histories Providing emergency first aid Collecting specimens Assisting in Research Performing laboratory procedures Preparation and assistance during surgery Observing animals' behavior and condition Helping with physical exams of patients Restraining animals during exams or procedures Taking XRays Performing Dental Cleanings Updating patient records Cleaning and sterilizing equipment Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments prescribed by the veterinarian.
