Job Description

Are you a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician with a passion for anesthesia and patient care? We're looking for a dedicated surgery and appointment technician to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring safe, effective surgical procedures for our patients.
Position Overview:
Join our team as a Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this energetic and rewarding role, you will assist veterinarians with medical procedures, animal handling, and client communication to ensure every pet receives top-quality treatment. The Veterinary Anesthesia Technician is responsible for administering and monitoring anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-anesthetic exams and diagnostics Calculate and administer anesthetic drugs under veterinarian supervision Monitor vital signs during procedures Assist with surgical and dental procedures Provide post-operative monitoring and care Maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications:
Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred) Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassion for animals and commitment to high-quality care Other Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and diagnostic procedures Handle animals safely and confidently, utilizing animal restraint and handling skills to minimize stress and ensure safety for pets, clients, and staff. Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostics Maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatments, medication administration, and laboratory results with precision. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
