Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding career in veterinary medicine? Love working with animals? Clearview Animal Hospital is looking for a responsible person to join our growing practice part time. We have grown to 6 veterinarians at our practice and recently began offering Housecall services to our clients with Clearview on the Go! We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and other pocket pets. Clearview Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the Hanover area since 1974.
Job duties will include:
Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking in patients for appointments and surgery, invoicing and taking payments, operating blood machines, performing radiographs, collecting blood samples, placing I.V. catheters, administering medications, laser treatments, assisting the veterinarians, cleaning, client education, operating our EzyVet software and more. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Clearview Animal Hospital strives to offer the highest level of customer service to our clients as well as the highest level of medical care to our companion patients. Our assistants/technicians are the heart of the Clearview Team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right applicant. Applicants will need to have strong customer service skills, ability to multi-task and love animals and their humans. Availability to work day, evening and weekends is needed. Work schedule will vary based on shift needs. Flexibility is a must as veterinary medicine can be an unpredictable field. Our hours are Monday- Thursday 8:00 am
- 7:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am
- 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am
- 12:00 pm.
