Job Description
Overview We are seeking multiple dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the technical skills necessary to support veterinarians in providing high-quality medical services. This is a fast paced workplace that provides high quality emergency care to animals. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our animal patients while also providing excellent service to pet owners. Duties Assess emergencies based on critical need, triage patients Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal patients' vital signs and overall health during procedures. Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and monitoring. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Provide client education on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments. Assist with pet grooming as needed, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all animals. Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with team members and clients. Along with team maintain cleaning, laundry and kennel duties Qualifications A degree or certification in Veterinary Technology or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is essential. Experience in veterinary critical care is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory procedures, X-Ray techniques, surgical procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
