A Veterinary Technician or Technologist assists veterinarians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in animals. May perform diagnostic tests or administer medications. Works in private veterinary practices or animal hospitals.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leading by example in the treatment room: Supporting and delegating to assistants, and helping set the tone for patient care and workflow Performing technical tasks: Including IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction/monitoring, radiographs, and in-house diagnostics
Support:
Assistant veterinarians in exams, procedures, and surgery
Coaching:
Being a leader while using your expertise to coach assistants and new staff in protocol and best practices Preferred but not required: Performing dental prophylaxis and assisting in dental radiographs and charting Educating clients: Offering a high standard of client communication and education
You Are:
A Certified Veterinary Technician in Pennsylvania Experienced (preferred 2+ years), though new grads with strong potential will be considered Passionate about mentorship, positive leadership, and being a go-to person for the team Comfortable taking initiative and suggesting improvements Open-minded, flexible, and able to adapt to change while staying calm under pressure Skilled at building trust with clients and coworkers alike while maintaining professional boundaries Able to work independently, and in a team, while managing your time effectively Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and willing to help hold the team to high standards
