Job Description
Metropolitan Veterinary Associates seeks an Animal Technician to support our specialty and 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital in Norristown, PA. In this fast-paced role, you'll assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint, treatments, sample collection, and patient monitoring for medical, surgical, and critical care cases. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting kennels and equipment, preparing exam and procedure areas, feeding, walking, and observing patients, and accurately documenting care. You'll collaborate closely with board-certified specialists, learn advanced procedures, and contribute to compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families.
