Position:
Certified Veterinary Technician This is available as a full-time position.
Job Duties:
Assisting Doctors with Procedures and Appointments Performing Technical Procedures and Diagnostics Assisting in Surgical Procedures/Monitoring Anesthesia Counseling Clients on Products/Services Addressing Client Concerns Relaying Instructions to Clients Feeding/Medicating Hospitalized Patients Animal Handling Answering Phones Scheduling Appointments Cleaning/Sanitizing Hospital Areas Feeding/Medicating Hospitalized and Boarding Patients Additional Duties as Needed.
Requirements:
Candidates MUST be Certified as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Pennsylvania Must be proficient in computer usage and able to learn new scheduling software Experience with Avimark is preferred Must be able to lift 40lbs unassisted Candidates must be comfortable handling domestic animals of all breeds and temperaments
