Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team! Experience preferred , but willing to train the right candidate. In this vital role, you will assist veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical care and ensure the well-being of our animal patients. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive experience for both animals and their owners while maintaining high standards of veterinary practice. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and diagnostic procedures with animal restraint and handling for dogs, cats and small mammals Become proficient in performing laboratory tests, including blood draws, urine analysis, and other diagnostic procedures Maintain accurate records of treatments, medications, and patient histories using veterinary terminology Requirements Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures related to pet dentistry Experience with animal catheterization, restraint techniques, and anatomy knowledge Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices and laboratory procedures Ability to handle dogs confidently through training techniques and dog handling skills Strong understanding of animal physiology and veterinary terminology Previous veterinary technician experience is preferred; certification is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Join our vibrant team where your skills make a difference every day! Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
