Animal Eye Clinic is a veterinary ophthalmology specialty practice in the Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC areas. We are currently seeking a part-time veterinary technician for the Columbia location (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), but are open to full-time if an applicant wants to add more hours in one of our Charlotte locations. The right candidate would have a great personality, positive attitude, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, while practicing high quality medicine. We are looking for candidates who have a strong work ethic, client care, patient care, and an interest in ophthalmology. Veterinary technicians must be experienced and comfortable with anesthesia and surgery. We are offering a great schedule, competitive pay, uniform allowance, PTO, and other benefits. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in ophthalmic examinations and procedures for animals. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Administer anesthesia under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of procedures performed. Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of patients. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and follow-up appointments.
