Help Us Launch Something New! We are excited to be opening a new satellite spay/neuter clinic in Florence, SC , and we are looking for an experienced, compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our main clinic is located in Columbia, SC , and has an established history of providing high-quality, affordable veterinary services to our community. Our new Florence location will bring that same mission and standard of care to the Pee Dee region. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the beginning of a new location and help establish a positive, efficient, and compassionate clinic culture from day one. Job Summary As a Veterinary Technician, you will play an important role in all aspects of our high-volume surgical day. This position is ideal for someone who is confident in their technical skills, works well under pressure, and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team. You will play a key role in maintaining aseptic techniques, monitoring anesthesia, and providing exceptional animal care throughout surgical procedures. If you are passionate about veterinary medicine, thrive under pressure, and possess a strong foundation in animal handling and surgical assistance, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Assisting with high-volume spay/neuter surgeries Anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery Surgical preparation and patient care Venipuncture and vaccine administration Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery Maintaining accurate medical records Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient surgical environment Providing compassionate care to patients and professional communication with clients Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic Skills Veterinary Technician experience required Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred Strong technical and patient-care skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable, organized, and able to multitask Comfortable working with dogs and cats A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care Why Join Us?
