The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, with the ability to provide high-quality support in a veterinary setting. This role involves working closely with veterinarians and other staff to ensure the health and well-being of our patients, while also providing excellent customer service to pet owners. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. Provide education to pet owners about animal husbandry and care. Handle dogs and other animals safely and effectively during procedures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennel areas. Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures to prevent infection. Support critical care efforts for animals in need of urgent attention. Qualifications Proven experience in veterinary settings is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong skills in dog handling and general animal husbandry practices. Knowledge of veterinary critical care protocols is a plus. Familiarity with animal physiology and behavior is essential. Experience with dog training techniques is beneficial but not required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Commitment to providing compassionate care for all animals.
