Located in Allen, TX our family-owned animal hospital is proud to serve clients and their companions from the neighboring communities of Frisco, McKinney, Fairview, and Plano. Experienced Veterinary Technician Country Creek Animal Hospital (1258 West Exchange Pkwy, Allen, TX 75013) is currently seeking applications from Experienced Veterinary Technicians. The position would be a full-time or part-time opportunity with most weekends off and only occasional weekend duties. The new Team Member(s) would be joining an AAHA accredited progressive and modern veterinary hospital that also offers ancillary services in Pet Grooming, Pet Lodging/Boarding, and Retail. Our experienced Team Members would be welcoming and supportive. Most of our team members are long term employees. Areas of knowledge, competency, and proficiency would need to include but are not limited to: Client education, Wellness Care for Cats/Kittens and Dogs/Puppies, Ability to give injections/vaccinations, hospitalization/nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis and radiography, IV catheter placement, drawing blood and running laboratory tests (in-house and outside laboratory), taking radiographs, pet restraint for veterinary procedures, phone skills, basic administration duties, upkeep and care of hospital equipment and facilities, working independently and as a team member, and having an overall great attitude and love and appreciation for pets and their people Compensation would be based on skill set and other variables.
