At Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (AVES), we're growing rapidly as we added new doctors, expanded services, and launched departments. We recently moved into our brand-new, state-of-the-art 45,000 sq. ft. hospital and are ready to add to our team! As part of our growth, we're hiring for multiple oncology technician and assistant roles. We're seeking highly skilled, self-motivated, and team-oriented professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care in advanced veterinary medicine The successful candidate will work with board certified Veterinary Oncologists and other specialists and patient care personnel who provide excellent client service and the highest standard of patient care. Applicants should be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and have excellent multi-tasking abilities. Applicants should have exemplary communication skills with both colleagues and clients. The applicant's skill set should include (but not be limited to) intravenous catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, drug dose calculation, and a strong interest in oncology. Oncology experience is greatly desired in either Medical or Radiation Oncology. Must have veterinary patient handling experience, preferably with a veterinary specialty hospital or veterinary emergency hospital.
