Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in a supportive, family-oriented environment. This role involves assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, patient care, and client communication, ensuring the well-being of all animals and comfort of their owners. Duties Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed accurately. Provide compassionate care and support to animals during their visits, including safe restraint and administering medications as directed. Monitor patient health by observing behavior and vital signs, documenting findings accurately. Prepare examination rooms, surgical areas, and necessary equipment for procedures. Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical tools and workspaces to ensure a safe environment for staff and animals. Support the team in managing a diverse range of cases with sensitivity and professionalism. Qualifications Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Compassionate nature with a genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. Ability to work efficiently in an atmosphere that values teamwork. Flexibility to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
