Job Description
Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is a 24 hour, emergency only, small animal practice. We are currently looking for veterinary technicians to join our team.
We are currently looking for:
1 Overnight technician 1 Swing technician 1 Day technician Previous ER experience is not required but preferred. We welcome experienced technicians from general practice or specialty settings who are ready to transition into emergency medicine. For candidates with a strong technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and an interest in pursuing ER medicine, we are happy to provide training and support to help you successfully make that transition. We are searching for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunities to have your technician skills utilized. This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a passion for veterinary medicine that drives them to provide the highest quality care possible. The ability to prioritize and multi-task is key. Technical skills searching for but are not limited to are listed below: Venipuncture Place IV Catheter Anesthesia Surgery technician skills Triage Maintain Medical Records Radiology Patient Recovery Ability to communicate with clients In-house laboratory analysis Prioritize by emergency Drug calculations Patient Care Veterinary technician licensing is preferred but not required.
