Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Small Animal Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional care to our patients! In this energetic role, you will assist veterinarians with a wide range of clinical procedures, ensure the comfort and safety of animals, and support pet owners with compassionate communication. Your expertise will help us deliver top-tier veterinary services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to animal health and well-being. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures, including radiology diagnostics and laboratory work Perform animal restraint using proper techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff Collect blood samples via phlebotomy, insert IV catheters, and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures Maintain aseptic technique during surgical assistance and veterinary procedures to prevent infection Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines, anesthesia monitors, and laboratory analyzers with precision Provide pet care including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as directed Support emergency medicine cases by providing critical & intensive care, animal husbandry, and vital sign monitoring Skills Proven experience working with small animals in a veterinary or pet care setting, including kennel experience and dog handling skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients about pet health concerns and treatment plans This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their veterinary technician experience while supporting the health of beloved pets.
