  • Feline-Only Practice Houston Cat Hospital | Houston, TX Full-Time or Part-Time | $20
  • 28/hour, based on experience and technical skill Houston Cat Hospital is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Veterinary Technician to join our feline-only medical team.
We aren't simply looking for someone who has worked in a veterinary hospital — we're looking for a technician who understands patient care, can think ahead, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is confident using their technical skills. Compensation & Benefits $20
  • 28/hour , based on experience, demonstrated technical ability, and credentials. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Benefits for eligible team members include:

  • Paid Holidays and PTO What Sets a Top Candidate Apart Candidates at the higher end of our compensation range will demonstrate strong proficiency in areas such as:
  • Anesthesia induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery
  • Advanced IV catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Surgical preparation and assistance
  • Dentistry and dental radiography
  • Digital radiography and proper positioning
  • In-house laboratory procedures
  • Medication calculations and administration
  • Hospitalized patient care
  • Recognizing changes in patient status
  • Low-stress feline restraint and handling
  • Strong time management and ability to anticipate the needs of the veterinarian
  • Leadership, accountability, and the ability to support and mentor less-experienced team members LVT credentials are valued, but exceptional hands-on experience matters to us as well.
