Licensed Veterinary Technician Katy, TX | Full-Time | $20
  • 24/hr The Faith Babirye Veterinary Surgery & Diagnostics Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of experience to join our surgical team.
We are a surgery-focused practice providing orthopedic procedures including TPLO, fracture repair, advanced soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging such as CT, digital radiography, and C-arm fluoroscopy. Our team works in a structured, supportive environment where technicians play a key role in patient care and surgical success. What We're Looking For:
Licensed Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of clinical experience Reliable, ethical, and self-motivated team player Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring, surgery, venipuncture, and diagnostics Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday Interest in a long-term position with growth opportunities
Responsibilities:
Assist in orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries Surgical preparation including IV catheter placement, intubation, clipping, and scrubbing Maintain sterile surgical technique Monitor anesthesia during procedures Assist with CT scans, radiographs, and fluoroscopy Provide post-operative care and recovery monitoring Perform lab work, administer medications, and manage IV fluids Maintain accurate medical records and patient care documentation
