Our brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital is now open, and we're looking for highly experienced technicians or LVT's who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and help us build something exceptional. This is an especially great opportunity for Lead Techs, Tech Supervisors, Shift Leads, Team Leaders, Practice Managers, and other experienced professionals who still genuinely love being hands-on in veterinary medicine — but don't get to be anymore. Required Core Veterinary Technician Skills This is an experienced technician position and requires strong, hands-on experience and confidence in the following core veterinary technician skills: Anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery from start to finish Surgical assistance and surgical preparation, including intubation IV catheter placement Dental cleanings and dental radiology Digital radiology, including X-rays and ultrasound In-house laboratory diagnostics, including Abaxis Setting up and reading cytologies, including Imagyst Patient care and treatment Client communication and education We're Looking for Someone Who Has 3+ years of veterinary experience Is confident working independently and can hit the ground running Takes initiative and naturally steps up when something needs to get done Is organized, dependable, proactive, and accountable Is resourceful and comfortable figuring things out without needing every step explained Enjoys teaching and mentoring others Is tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technology — this is a high-tech hospital, and that is essential Communicates well with doctors, teammates, and clients, even when things get busy Has a systems mindset and thinks beyond simply completing the task in front of them Is interested in continued growth and taking on more responsibility Bonus Points If You… Have extensive ezyVet experience Are bilingual in English and Spanish Have experience with inventory management Have previous supervisory or management experience Have experience training or mentoring other technicians Have social media or content creation experience What You'll Do You'll provide excellent patient care and work alongside our doctors during appointments, hospitalizations, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. Because FurEver is a brand-new hospital, you'll also have the opportunity to take ownership and help build the systems that keep it running, including: Inventory and ordering Radiology Surgery and anesthesia In-house laboratory systems Equipment and technology Training and mentoring Developing protocols, workflows, and SOPs Identifying ways to improve patient care and hospital operations You don't need to know everything. But you do need to know how to figure things out. $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
