Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Do you have a passion for animal care and a heart for helping pets and their owners? Main Street Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and dependable Veterinary Technician to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys hands-on patient care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures Prepare animals for surgery and monitor recovery Administer medications and vaccinations as directed Collect lab samples and perform basic diagnostic testing Restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Clean and sterilize exam rooms, surgical tools, and equipment Support pet owners by providing clear care instructions Assist with intake, discharge, and general animal handling Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment

Qualifications:

Experience as a Veterinary Technician or in an animal care setting preferred Veterinary Technician certification welcomed (if applicable) Knowledge of animal handling, medical terminology, and clinical procedures Ability to work with animals of varying sizes and temperaments Comfortable assisting with surgery support and routine procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical duties as needed
