Job Description

MPC Veterinary Care is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Veterinary Technician who values patient care, communication, teamwork, and continuous learning. We are a growing veterinary practice focused on building a supportive and collaborative clinic environment while delivering high-quality medical care to our patients and clients. We are looking for someone who is:

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced veterinary environment while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures
  • Patient restraint and handling
  • Laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Surgical preparation and monitoring
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • Radiology assistance
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Supporting workflow efficiency and patient care coordination
  • Assisting with client communication and education
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and supportive work environment
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume workflow
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support clinic operations as needed
  • Growth-oriented mindset and openness to feedback/coaching
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing workflow demands
  • Compassion for both patients and clients
  • Appreciation for collaborative medicine and shared operational responsibility
Qualifications:
  • Veterinary technician experience preferred
  • Veterinary assistant experience considered
  • Experience with Vetspire or similar veterinary software preferred
  • Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
  • Flexible and dependable attendance
