Practice Overview South Bosque Veterinary Clinic is a six-doctor practice who fosters a team-oriented, encouraging work environment. Communication and team work are strong focus points for our practice. Our staff has found success by not only helping one another professionally but supporting each other in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiology, full in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, a two-table surgical suite, and a two-table dental suite with dental radiology.
Job Description:
Engaging and communicating with clients in a professional, friendly demeanor Educate clients on proper preventative care for their pets Getting and maintaining patient medical history information Assisting doctors with patient treatments, procedures and surgeries Monitor patients during surgeries, dentals or other treatments and report observations to doctors Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and medical treatments Aide in care of all hospitalized pets Assist with taking digital radiographs Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or management Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift 40 pounds required At least one year of prior veterinary experience
REQUIRED
, two years preferred . LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) degree highly preferred but not required Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative Strong work ethic, willing to do all necessary tasks to help the team Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Team player with the ability to work as a group, but also independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
