Job Description
We are looking for an intelligent, compassionate, and dedicated individual of integrity to join our mixed-animal veterinary practice. Vet tech training, education, and/or experience is preferred (pay is determined by experience). Employees must be comfortable with, as well willingly and physically capable of, handling and restraining animals of various sizes and species. We appreciate detail-oriented individuals who are willingly proactive in recognizing and performing a variety of needed duties throughout the office additional to standard vet tech responsibilities such as answering phones, following up with clients, checking clients and patients in and out, and tidying and cleaning all areas of the office. Professional attitude, behavior, and attire are expected at all times. Employee must be capable of articulation when communicating with clients in person, over the telephone, or through written correspondence in email and chat, always using proper, professional, and appropriate syntax and grammar. It is critical that employees are respectful, kind, patient, and helpful to each other and to all clients and patients we serve, as we strive to ensure that every animal and owner feels valued and cared for. We are looking for someone who enjoys and takes pride in interacting with and serving both people and their pets and contributing to a clean, comforting, and inviting environment that allows for a positive experience with every veterinary visit. Finally, a sense of humor is also a welcome addition, as we enjoy a light and friendly atmosphere in our office.
