Our goal is to offer the highest quaility of care for all kinds of species from dogs and cats to snakes and birds. We take pride in our medicine offered to all our patients and hope to find someone who loves working with people and their pets as much as we do! We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong knowledge of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include providing medical care to animals, assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments, administering medications, collecting samples for laboratory tests, and educating clients on pet health and safety. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals. Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for analysis. Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts. Monitor vital signs of animals. Provide client education on animal health care and preventive medicine.
