Are you a compassionate, skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to grow with a supportive and dedicated team? Our busy, client-focused veterinary practice is seeking an experienced
LVT/RVT/CVT
who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. A sign-on bonus is available upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist veterinarians with medical procedures, and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic. Your expertise in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and clinical procedures will play an essential role in delivering high-quality veterinary care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your knowledge, technical skills, and compassion directly impact the health and well-being of our patients and the experience of their families. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care. Perform animal restraint and handling using humane techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff. This may include lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods of time. Maintain detailed medical records, including vaccination history, treatment plans, and procedural documentation. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments following veterinary protocols and aseptic techniques. Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines and perform dental cleanings utilizing dental terminology knowledge. Monitor anesthesia and assist veterinarian with surgical patients. Handle laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests to support veterinary cases. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment adhering to safety standards and infection control protocols. Experience Proven veterinary technician experience with a strong background in animal care and clinical procedures. Laboratory experience including sample collection, processing, and analysis is desirable. Dog and cat handling skills combined with animal restraint expertise to ensure safe interactions during examinations or treatments. Salary commensurate with experience.
