Job Description
Come join our amazing team of friendly, knowledgeable animal care professionals and make a difference in the lives of people and their pets! Busy 6 doctor practice seeks motivated, team-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician. Know and use appropriate safety precautions for gas anesthesia and dentistry. Complete dental cleanings, including digital dental xray's. Collect blood and process all lab samples for either in-house or out-of-house laboratories. Read and interpret patient chart and ICU sheet, perform required treatments, and follow veterinarian's orders accurately. Provide injections, collect samples, and perform all treatments and record all events in the patient's computerized record. Assist the doctor in all areas of patient care. All candidates should be able to provide exceptional customer service, lift at least 50 pounds, mutli-task, have computer literacy skills, and have a clean, professional appearance. Compensation based on experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, IRA, CE allowance, paid vacation and sick time, and paid holidays.
